
On-Demand Training
Courses and workshops delivered through Tourism Saskatchewan's online Learning Management System (LMS) are available at all times. Most courses can be completed online using a desktop or laptop computer, tablet, smartphone or other mobile device.
Training through the LMS provides permanent access to a personal training plan that allows learners to view all their in-progress and completed training, including any knowledge check (exam) results, certificates of completion and other credentials.

Virtual and In-Person Webinars and Training
Virtual opportunities include webinars and other scheduled events delivered live online or at an advertised location. Participants must be available to attend at the scheduled time or location. Webinars are delivered using online platforms, such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Recordings may be available for webinars, but not for virtual workshops.

Tourism Saskatchewan is offering young people under the age of 19 the opportunity to take our Workplace Essentials online course—a practical, beginner‑friendly program that helps students prepare for their first job or early work experiences. The course costs $65, and the full fee will be refunded once the training is completed.
Work-Readiness Credential
The Emerit Work-Readiness Credential is a nationally recognized certification for tourism professionals in Canada. It involves completing workplace essentials training, one occupation-specific course, and two exams, leading to a certificate, digital badge, and professional designation.
